The Queen of Time Gives Way to Fish Concern

I made a very rare visit to Oxford Street today. I was in search of a good shot of Selfridge's "The Queen of Time". The statue and clock were covered though.When I discovered why, I was surprised.

I was hugely impressed that Selfridge's have not only covered their iconic entrance way but have also given over almost all of their windows to a campaign to preserve marine life. A worthwhile project given the same prominence as an Easter or Christmas Sale, I can't imagine that in most places.

Real West-End style. A big name promoting big issues; secure in their superiority at retailing they can look at the problems of consumption too.
